Altered Shapes - Books - Journals - Pages!

This is  the wonderful new book from Design Originals by Linda Rael, Carrie Edelmann Avery, Erin Edelmann, Laura Dehart, Lisa Vollrath, and Michele Charles.  Just off the press!  This book has lots of wonderful projects.

This book is oriented toward book artists looking for inspiring shapes for books and ideas for decorating them.  Some of the creative shapes include Butterfly & Heart; Goddess, Shrine & Wings; Sun, Cross & Guitar, Alphabet Tag Book; Star & Crown; Boot & Car; Clock & Hand; and House & Tag.

The book has 52 pages, with about 32 of them being in black and white with patterns (templates) and text instructions.  The remaining pages have lots of color pictures and instructions. 

There is information for cutting books into shapes with band saws or scroll saws, plus information on how to decorate ones that are already pre-cut when purchased.
